Berners-Lee Tim

Tim Berners-Lee was born on June 8, 1955 in England. He invented the World Wide Web in 1989. When you type a word into a search engine like Google, multiple links pop up with information that connects that word to a million other topics, this is an application of a hypertext.  This surplus of information allows you to have the options of choosing which link would be suitable for what you are looking for.

He would have made so much money if he was selfish and tried to sell this idea, but instead he was willing to give it away for free.  Therefore, no one would have control over the World Wide Web and there would be a space available for everyone to use. He later described Web 3.0 as the Semantic Web.
