Features:

  • Access to data from anywhere.
    • This is mainly being driven by the heavy usage of smartphones and cloud applications.
    • Smart devices(Ex: Smartphones, Smart TV's, etc.) will be able to access the user data from computers.
  • Simplistic Design
    • Designers will continue to focus on making sites simpler. The focus is not necessarily making something as simple as possible, but making it as simplistic as possible.
    • Having simplistic designs will force the user to focus on the content. It's good to point out that making a website with a simplistic design is very different from making it simple. Simple means very standard and not defined enough, while simplistic means complex in the way were there is a lot of information but easily readable. Users won’t be easily distracted from the content by looking at flashy animations and other fancy objects.
Web3

What’s expected:

  • The change in Web 2.0 to Web 3.0 is about how the internet is used, not really how it’s seen.
  • Data will have meaning.
    • Computers will be able to understand data as well as a human. It will be achieved by using artificial intelligence and the semantic web. The semantic web will teach the computer what the data means, and this will evolve into artificial intelligence that can utilize that information.
